Amazing Givenchy

Other Givenchy collection by Ricardo Tisci and other marvel. Just launched spring-summer 2013 collection follows the path of minimalism, but slightly looking at the romantic side (nearly gothic) of Hubert de Givenchy beginning during the 60's. And this is true. Flounces are not incompatible with simplicity, as Nicolas Ghesquière has shown at Balenciaga collection. Ricardo Tisci maintains that he wanted to go back to the beginning and he has been inspired by his Italian and catholic tradition origin. Don't be surprised if we see certain habit air at some looks. There's nothing else than that. The fabrics choice, the asymmetries and the colours show again the sensual side of Givenchy woman. I would only dress in black and white because of collections like this.
